About this package

Recurring hives, itchy patches and eczema often have an allergic trigger, but it can be a food, something in the air, or neither. This panel tests the food and inhalant allergen groups, which cover most of the triggers that reach the skin. Total IgE shows the overall allergic tendency, and the blood count looks at eosinophils, a white cell that rises in many allergic conditions. CRP is added to separate allergic skin problems from those driven by infection or inflammation. If the panel is mostly negative, that is useful too: it points your dermatologist toward causes such as irritants, stress or a skin condition that is not allergic.

For skin that flares: food and inhalant allergen panels, total IgE, blood count and CRP to look at hives, eczema and rashes.

What does this package cover?

The 5 tests are grouped into 2 health areas:

Blood count & inflammation 2 tests

Red cells, white cells and platelets, blood group, and general inflammation markers.

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

RBC count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, WBC count with differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils), platelet count, and red-cell indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC).

  • CRP (C-Reactive Protein)

The level of C-reactive protein circulating in the blood, which rises within hours of an inflammatory trigger.

Allergy 3 tests

Measures allergic (IgE) sensitisation to common food and inhaled triggers.

5 tests included (68 parameters)

Why consider this package?

  • 5 laboratory investigations in one booking
  • Looks at 2 health areas together, not in isolation
  • All samples collected in a single home visit
  • Costs ₹2,596 less than booking the tests separately
  • Useful for preventive screening, or when your doctor wants these tests together
  • Pathologist-reviewed reports shared online

Who is this package for?

Designed for

Men & women

Age group

All ages

Purpose

Health screening

People with hives, eczema, itchy rashes, swelling of lips or eyelids, or skin reactions after meals, and parents of children with persistent skin flare-ups.

How often should you get it done?

Usually once to map triggers. A repeat is only needed if symptoms change or new symptoms appear.

Not everyone needs every test. Whether this package suits you depends on your age, symptoms, family history and any ongoing treatment - your doctor can advise.

What can you learn from this package?

The package can provide information about:

  • Blood count & inflammation - Complete Blood Count (CBC) and CRP (C-Reactive Protein)
  • Allergy - Allergy Panel - Food (Veg & Non-Veg), Allergy Panel - Inhalant and Total IGE

A package gives individual results for each test - it does not diagnose disease by itself.

How to prepare

  • No fasting is required for this package.
  • Drink water as usual, and avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours before.
  • Take your regular medicines unless your doctor advises otherwise, and tell the phlebotomist what you take.

Understanding your package report

Your report lists the result of each test separately, with its own unit and reference range. Values outside the range are highlighted.

There is no single overall "health score" - each result is read on its own and then together with the others. One out-of-range value is not a diagnosis, and a normal report does not guarantee you are completely healthy.

Share the report with your doctor, who will interpret it with your symptoms and history. Call us if you need help reading it.

Frequently asked questions

Will this tell me exactly what causes my rash?

It narrows the list. A positive result means your immune system has made antibodies to that item, but only your history and sometimes a supervised food trial confirm that it causes the rash.

Why is CRP included?

A raised CRP suggests inflammation or infection, which changes how a skin problem is handled. A normal CRP with a high IgE leans toward an allergic cause.

Can I take antihistamines on the day?

Yes. Blood tests are not affected by them. Do mention which ones you use and for how long.

Do I need to fast?

No, you can eat and drink normally before the sample and take your usual medicines.
