About this package

The widest second-trimester review. Besides the glucose tolerance test and HbA1c for sugar, it adds kidney function and calcium, which matter more as blood pressure and demands change, and ferritin, vitamins B12 and D and the thyroid profile for nutrition and hormones. A urine routine and blood count complete the picture. It suits women with risk factors or those who want a thorough mid-pregnancy check.

A complete second trimester panel: glucose tolerance test, HbA1c, kidney function, calcium, ferritin, thyroid, B12, D and urine.

What does this package cover?

The 11 tests are grouped into 7 health areas:

Blood count & inflammation 1 test

Red cells, white cells and platelets, blood group, and general inflammation markers.

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

RBC count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, WBC count with differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils), platelet count, and red-cell indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC).

Iron & anaemia 1 test

Iron stores and red-cell production - the commonest causes of anaemia and tiredness.

  • Ferritin

Ferritin is a blood test. Ferritin checks a vitamin or nutrient level so any deficiency can be identified and treated by your doctor.

Diabetes & blood sugar 3 tests

Current and 3-month average blood sugar, plus insulin markers for diabetes and insulin resistance.

  • Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS)

The concentration of glucose in your blood after an overnight fast.

  • Glucose Tolerance Test - 2 Hrs (5 Samples)

Glucose Tolerance Test - 2 Hrs (5 Samples) is a blood test. Glucose Tolerance Test - 2 Hrs (5 Samples) measures blood glucose or a related marker to screen for, diagnose or monitor diabetes and insulin resistance.

  • HbA1c (Glycated Haemoglobin)

The percentage of haemoglobin in red blood cells that has glucose attached to it (glycated) - since red cells live about 120 days, this reflects average blood sugar over that period.

Kidney & electrolytes 1 test

How well your kidneys filter waste, plus the salts (electrolytes) they keep in balance.

  • Kidney Function Test

Blood urea/BUN, serum creatinine, eGFR (estimated glomerular filtration rate), uric acid, sodium, potassium, chloride, and calcium.

Thyroid 1 test

Thyroid hormones and antibodies - an under- or over-active thyroid affects weight, energy, mood and heart rate.

  • Thyroid Profile (T3, T4, TSH)

Total/Free T3 (triiodothyronine), Total/Free T4 (thyroxine), and TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone, produced by the pituitary gland to regulate the thyroid).

Vitamins, bone & minerals 3 tests

Vitamin D, B12, folate and the minerals and hormones that keep bones and nerves healthy.

  • Calcium

Calcium is a blood test. Calcium is a diagnostic laboratory test carried out on a blood sample. Your doctor may advise it to screen for, diagnose or monitor a related condition, with results reported against standard reference ranges.

  • Vitamin B12

    Serum vitamin B12 (cobalamin) concentration.

  • Vitamin D (25-OH)

25-hydroxyvitamin D (the combined D2 + D3 form), which is the most accurate indicator of overall vitamin D status in the body.

Urine 1 test

Routine urine analysis for infection, sugar, protein and kidney clues.

  • Urine Routine & Microscopic Examination

Physical characteristics (colour, clarity), chemical markers (protein, glucose, ketones, blood, pH), and microscopic examination for cells, crystals, casts and bacteria in a urine sample.

11 tests included (74 parameters)

Why consider this package?

  • 11 laboratory investigations in one booking
  • Looks at 7 health areas together, not in isolation
  • All samples collected in a single home visit
  • Costs ₹1,290 less than booking the tests separately
  • Useful for preventive screening, or when your doctor wants these tests together
  • Pathologist-reviewed reports shared online

Who is this package for?

Designed for

Women

Age group

18-45 years

Purpose

Health screening

Pregnant women with high blood pressure, anaemia, diabetes risk or earlier abnormal results.

How often should you get it done?

Once in the second trimester. Your doctor may suggest checking again in a few months if a value is borderline.

Not everyone needs every test. Whether this package suits you depends on your age, symptoms, family history and any ongoing treatment - your doctor can advise.

What can you learn from this package?

The package can provide information about:

  • Blood count & inflammation - Complete Blood Count (CBC)
  • Iron & anaemia - Ferritin
  • Diabetes & blood sugar - Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS), Glucose Tolerance Test - 2 Hrs (5 Samples) and HbA1c (Glycated Haemoglobin)
  • Kidney & electrolytes - Kidney Function Test
  • Thyroid - Thyroid Profile (T3, T4, TSH)
  • Vitamins, bone & minerals - Calcium, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D (25-OH)
  • Urine - Urine Routine & Microscopic Examination

A package gives individual results for each test - it does not diagnose disease by itself.

How to prepare

  • Fast for 8 to 10 hours before the sample - plain water is allowed. An early-morning slot makes this easier.
  • Drink water as usual, and avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours before.
  • Take your regular medicines unless your doctor advises otherwise, and tell the phlebotomist what you take.
  • For the urine test, a first-morning, mid-stream sample in the sterile container we provide is best.
  • Wear a loose-sleeved top so the blood sample can be collected easily.

Understanding your package report

Your report lists the result of each test separately, with its own unit and reference range. Values outside the range are highlighted.

There is no single overall "health score" - each result is read on its own and then together with the others. One out-of-range value is not a diagnosis, and a normal report does not guarantee you are completely healthy.

Share the report with your doctor, who will interpret it with your symptoms and history. Call us if you need help reading it.
