About this package

The widest annual review for men past sixty. It adds homocysteine and CRP for vessel health and inflammation, calcium and vitamin D for bones, vitamin B12 for memory and balance, and a urine examination, to the HbA1c, lipid, liver, kidney and thyroid tests. Both total and free PSA are included, because the free proportion helps doctors interpret a borderline total. PSA is not a stand-alone screening test, and benign enlargement and infection are common causes of a raised value.

The complete men's checkup above 60: PSA with free PSA, homocysteine, CRP, calcium, thyroid, lipids, liver, kidney, urine and vitamins.

What does this package cover?

The 14 tests are grouped into 9 health areas:

Blood count & inflammation 2 tests

Red cells, white cells and platelets, blood group, and general inflammation markers.

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

RBC count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, WBC count with differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils), platelet count, and red-cell indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC).

  • CRP (C-Reactive Protein)

The level of C-reactive protein circulating in the blood, which rises within hours of an inflammatory trigger.

Diabetes & blood sugar 1 test

Current and 3-month average blood sugar, plus insulin markers for diabetes and insulin resistance.

  • HbA1c (Glycated Haemoglobin)

The percentage of haemoglobin in red blood cells that has glucose attached to it (glycated) - since red cells live about 120 days, this reflects average blood sugar over that period.

Heart & cholesterol 2 tests

Blood fats and inflammation markers that together indicate the risk of heart disease and stroke.

  • Homocysteine

The concentration of homocysteine in the blood.

  • Lipid Profile

Total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and the calculated VLDL and total cholesterol/HDL ratio.

Liver 1 test

Liver enzymes, bilirubin and proteins that show inflammation, fatty liver or reduced liver function.

  • Liver Function Test (LFT)

SGPT/ALT, SGOT/AST, ALP, GGT, total/direct/indirect bilirubin, total protein, albumin, globulin, and the A/G ratio.

Kidney & electrolytes 1 test

How well your kidneys filter waste, plus the salts (electrolytes) they keep in balance.

  • Kidney Function Test

Blood urea/BUN, serum creatinine, eGFR (estimated glomerular filtration rate), uric acid, sodium, potassium, chloride, and calcium.

Thyroid 1 test

Thyroid hormones and antibodies - an under- or over-active thyroid affects weight, energy, mood and heart rate.

  • Thyroid Profile (T3, T4, TSH)

Total/Free T3 (triiodothyronine), Total/Free T4 (thyroxine), and TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone, produced by the pituitary gland to regulate the thyroid).

Vitamins, bone & minerals 3 tests

Vitamin D, B12, folate and the minerals and hormones that keep bones and nerves healthy.

  • Calcium

Calcium is a blood test. Calcium is a diagnostic laboratory test carried out on a blood sample. Your doctor may advise it to screen for, diagnose or monitor a related condition, with results reported against standard reference ranges.

  • Vitamin B12

    Serum vitamin B12 (cobalamin) concentration.

  • Vitamin D (25-OH)

25-hydroxyvitamin D (the combined D2 + D3 form), which is the most accurate indicator of overall vitamin D status in the body.

Urine 1 test

Routine urine analysis for infection, sugar, protein and kidney clues.

  • Urine Routine & Microscopic Examination

Physical characteristics (colour, clarity), chemical markers (protein, glucose, ketones, blood, pH), and microscopic examination for cells, crystals, casts and bacteria in a urine sample.

Tumour markers 2 tests

Blood markers doctors use alongside examination and imaging - a normal value does not rule out cancer.

  • Free PSA

The unbound (free) fraction of PSA, used together with total PSA to calculate the free-to-total PSA ratio.

  • PSA Total (Prostate Marker)

The total level of PSA circulating in the blood.

14 tests included (92 parameters)

Why consider this package?

  • 14 laboratory investigations in one booking
  • Looks at 9 health areas together, not in isolation
  • All samples collected in a single home visit
  • Costs ₹3,687 less than booking the tests separately
  • Useful for preventive screening, or when your doctor wants these tests together
  • Pathologist-reviewed reports shared online

Who is this package for?

Designed for

Men

Age group

60+ years

Purpose

Health screening

Men over 60 with several conditions, multiple medicines or a family history, who want one comprehensive yearly report.

How often should you get it done?

Once a year. Further tests are chosen by your doctor, based on the result.

Not everyone needs every test. Whether this package suits you depends on your age, symptoms, family history and any ongoing treatment - your doctor can advise.

What can you learn from this package?

The package can provide information about:

  • Blood count & inflammation - Complete Blood Count (CBC) and CRP (C-Reactive Protein)
  • Diabetes & blood sugar - HbA1c (Glycated Haemoglobin)
  • Heart & cholesterol - Homocysteine and Lipid Profile
  • Liver - Liver Function Test (LFT)
  • Kidney & electrolytes - Kidney Function Test
  • Thyroid - Thyroid Profile (T3, T4, TSH)
  • Vitamins, bone & minerals - Calcium, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D (25-OH)
  • Urine - Urine Routine & Microscopic Examination
  • Tumour markers - Free PSA and PSA Total (Prostate Marker)

A package gives individual results for each test - it does not diagnose disease by itself.

How to prepare

  • Fast for 10 to 12 hours before the sample - plain water is allowed. An early-morning slot makes this easier.
  • Drink water as usual, and avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours before.
  • Take your regular medicines unless your doctor advises otherwise, and tell the phlebotomist what you take.
  • For the urine test, a first-morning, mid-stream sample in the sterile container we provide is best.
  • Wear a loose-sleeved top so the blood sample can be collected easily.

Understanding your package report

Your report lists the result of each test separately, with its own unit and reference range. Values outside the range are highlighted.

There is no single overall "health score" - each result is read on its own and then together with the others. One out-of-range value is not a diagnosis, and a normal report does not guarantee you are completely healthy.

Share the report with your doctor, who will interpret it with your symptoms and history. Call us if you need help reading it.

Frequently asked questions

What does free PSA show?

The share of PSA not bound to proteins. A higher share leans toward benign enlargement, a lower one toward the need for closer evaluation.

What are warning signs to report straight away?

Blood in urine, unexplained weight loss, new back pain, difficulty passing urine or persistent cough. Do not wait for the yearly check.

How should I prepare?

Fast for ten to twelve hours with water allowed, and avoid ejaculation and cycling for two days.
